CoReMH 17th General Meeting was held

The first CoReMH meeting of the year brought together members to discuss the evolving migration patterns in the region and their implications for mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). As migration trends continue to shift, understanding the changing needs of displaced populations remains a key priority.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the introduction of a new format for Refugee Mental Health Local Updates. Going forward, insights and discussions from general meetings will serve as the foundation for publishing regional updates on refugee mental health. This initiative aims to enhance the sharing of timely and relevant field-based information among professionals, organizations, and stakeholders invested in MHPSS for displaced communities.

By leveraging the collective knowledge and experiences of CoReMH members, these updates will serve as a valuable resource for those working in the field, ensuring that emerging challenges, best practices, and critical insights are accessible to all who are interested in supporting refugee mental health.

Stay tuned for upcoming updates as we continue to strengthen our network and collaboration in addressing the mental health needs of refugees.
