• Refugee arrivals and accommodation numbers remain low across several countries, while discrepancies persist between official statistics and movements toward destination countries in Europe.
• The implementation of the EU Pact on Migration is creating uncertainty, with new registration, detention, and accelerated asylum procedures being introduced or announced in multiple countries.
• Humanitarian and protection services continue to shrink due to reduced funding, limited organisational presence, and weaker institutional cooperation.
• Concerns were raised about deteriorating reception conditions, pushbacks, deportations, and barriers to accessing legal, medical, and psychosocial support.
• Civil society organisations reported increasing challenges in supporting refugees and undocumented migrants, including legal restrictions, discrimination, and overcrowded reception facilities.
